Associate

Currently leading investments for XA Network. XA is an investment network where senior tech leaders from companies such as Google, Netflix, Amazon, Grab, Gojek, Alibaba, etc. make early stage investments in their personal capacity. XA has invested into 80+ companies since 2018.

I also make personal investments in startups I find interesting.

My previous stints include:

  1. Analyst at MDI Ventures, the CVC arm of Telkom Indonesia, investing in Pre-A to Series C startups in SEA

  2. Remote investment intern at GEAR Innovation Network, the partnerships and investments arm of Sinar Mas Mining

  3. Principal and team lead in Protege Ventures, a student-run VC focusing on student-founded startups

  4. CEO and Co-founder of (insert stealth startup), a fantasy league operator for esports, where I pulled in SGD 100k in angel investments and led operations, IR, some product management, and BD

  5. Full stack intern in Insignia Ventures Partners, where an orange guy formerly from Sequoia controls lots of money

Student

I was studying in SUTD, pursuing an Honors Degree in Information Systems Technology and Design.

In my time, I was the Marketing Director of Makerspace Club, and we support SUTD's Marketing, Admissions and Student Life department's efforts by doing engineering projects for showcasing, I was also the Vice President of SUTD Strength, and came in 1st in U85kg for Singapore Weightlifting Federation’s Opens 2018. I also participated in Campus League PVPEsports for Mobile Legends under SUTD and came in 5th out of 90 teams.

Spent most of my time in school breaking rules, not listening to class, and doing side gigs. By some divine intervention, I graduated without failing any mods.
